Editorial Cartoons Jazz Up The Newspapers
"Cartoons increase the value of newspapers. That is the reason, regardless of advances in photography and activity advances, cartoons still order their own particular place in newspapers,'' M.A. Ponnappa, executive, Karnataka Media Academy, said in Bidar on Monday.
He was talking at a media exchange about "Cartoons in newspapers as a type of articulation," sorted out by the foundation, the Information Department and the Karnataka Union of Working Journalists at the Rang Mandir.
"Cartoons have regularly enduring effect on the psyches of perusers. They are such viable communicators that in a couple of lines, they portray the most critical occasion of the day. Nonetheless, cartoonists are yet to get their due," he said. He gave cases of how a few cartoons commended in one society are misjudged or even rubbished in others. He solicited experts working in all areas from the daily paper to cooperate on a story, bringing the cartoonist.
